Meet your hosts

This mini-course is brought to you by Lee Fieldhouse and Kirsty Hughes of Island Biologicals; a commercial worm farming operation in Australia.

Lee is a sought-after speaker with 10 years experience setting up and running our continuous flow cast harvest vermicompost system, and helping others set up and improve their systems through compost consulting.

Kirsty comes from a career in catchment management and environmental education, and mostly works behind the scenes.

What others have to say

This is the first time we’ve offered Worm Breeding 101! Here’s what participants had to say about our other course ‘So You Want to be a Worm Farmer’:

“I found this course to be very interesting and gave me a better understanding of what I need to do to get a better end result. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in starting a worm farm large or small. Many thanks Lee.” Mike Edwards

“Not often an old dog learns new tricks but I did and I have started using the straight away. Thank you a very informative course.”

“I found this course to be very informative. Each week I looked forward to the next session. I have been worm farming for a number of years and this course has helped me to get a better understanding of the biology side of things which i have been lacking. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in worm farming large or small.”
